The incident took place in the “Qads Khordak” area of the Qads district. The perpetrator, identified as “Mohammed,” is a resident of Shahrak district in Ghor. The Taliban group in Badghis confirmed the incident’s occurrence and revealed that Mohammed is a soldier of their security command in the Qads district.
The Taliban’s violent and arbitrary behavior towards citizens, particularly women and girls, is not new.
