RASC News Agency: The local authorities representing the Taliban group in the provinces of Maidan Wardak, Samangan, and Ghor have officially confirmed that a total of 3,347 households residing in these regions have been provided with both monetary and food assistance. This initiative aims to alleviate the hardships faced by vulnerable families in these provinces. The Directorate of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, operating under the Taliban group in Maidan Wardak Province, informed the media on November 18th about the collaboration between the World Food Program (WFP) and the Noor Educational and Capacity Development Organization (NECDO). Together, they have distributed cash aid to 1,146 households in need within this particular province.
As stated by the leader of the Taliban group in Maidan Wardak province, the aid distribution program ensured that each household received a sum of 3,200 Kabuli rupees, the current currency of Afghanistan. This financial support aims to provide immediate relief to the families affected by the challenging circumstances prevailing in the region.
The Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, under the Taliban group in Samangan Province, has announced the distribution of food assistance to 1,350 households in the region. In addition to the aid efforts in Samangan province, the local authorities of the Taliban group in Ghor province have also made an announcement. They have provided monetary assistance to 850 households that own livestock in the Tiora district. This initiative aims to support the livelihoods of these families and ensure their well-being during challenging times.
The press office of the governor of the Taliban group in Ghor province further revealed that “Action Aid” facilitated the distribution of monetary aid amounting to 7,306 Kabuli rupees, the current currency of Afghanistan, to each livestock owner in the province. This financial support aims to alleviate the economic burdens faced by these households and contribute to their overall stability.
