RASC News Agency: Amid the ongoing wave of mysterious and targeted killings across diverse provinces of the nation, local sources in Nimruz province have recently disclosed an incident involving the fatal shooting of a man by unidentified armed individuals. Sources from Nimruz province provided media outlets with information on Wednesday, January 17th, indicating that unidentified armed individuals carried out a shooting against the man during the previous night in the Khashroud district of the province.

According to these sources, the victim, identified as Ali Ahmad, aged approximately 46, fell victim to an unclear motive and reason behind his killing by unidentified armed individuals. As of now, authorities from the Taliban group in Nimruz province have not issued any statements regarding this incident. This occurrence unfolds at a juncture where the incidence of criminal activities, notably mysterious and targeted killings, armed robberies, and abductions, has seen an upsurge in different parts of the nation.

In a recent development, an influential tribal elder, a prominent figure in Badghis province, was fatally shot by unidentified armed individuals in the “Khawaja Kala” area of Herat city yesterday. According to the belief held by some citizens, in numerous criminal incidents, members of the Taliban group allegedly orchestrate actions and attribute them to unidentified armed thieves.
