RASC News Agency: Local officials from the Taliban group have verified the finalization and inauguration of a new thoroughfare in the quadruple districts of Andkhoy in Faryab province. According to a bulletin issued on January 2nd by the Department of Agriculture in Faryab province, the construction of this intersection, amounting to 20 million Kabuli rupees, has been successfully completed and is now operational. Attaullah Omari, the acting Minister of Agriculture for the Taliban group in Faryab, heralds this development as a positive stride towards reconstruction, advancement, and economic autonomy.

The newsletter underscores that the expenses for building this thoroughfare were underwritten by a merchant, underscoring the pivotal role that entrepreneurs play in metamorphosing the district and contributing to the nation’s development and infrastructure endeavors. The Taliban group official underscores the importance of such initiatives, acknowledging their potential positive repercussions on the overall well-being of the community.

While residents of the quadruple districts of Andkhoy applaud the avenue’s completion and commend the efforts to embellish the district’s landscape, they also voice apprehensions about other pressing needs. Access to potable water, employment opportunities, and educational and healthcare amenities rank among the top priorities for the local populace. Despite the avenue’s completion, the Taliban group faces criticism for not prioritizing the reconstruction of fundamental sectors like healthcare and educational institutions, pivotal for the citizens’ welfare. It is noteworthy that personal funds have frequently been utilized for rebuilding schools and fundamental infrastructure across the nation.
