RASC News Agency: The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice has declared the Sardar Mohammad Daoud Khan Township in the Paghman district of Kabul province as state property and has confiscated it. This announcement was made public through a notice issued by the Taliban’s Ministry of Justice on Wednesday, July 3.

According to the notice, the Taliban’s Special Court for Land Grabbing Cases has determined that the township, covering an area of 556 acres, is state-owned. The notice further mentioned that the Taliban’s Land Grabbing Prevention Commission had submitted the Sardar Daoud Khan Township case to the Special Court.

The Ministry added that the group, after a thorough and comprehensive investigation, confirmed the township as state property. The Taliban’s commission stated that it had been proven that the ownership documents for the Sardar Daoud Khan Township were “fraudulent.” Shortly after the Taliban took control of the country, they established a special commission to reclaim seized lands.

The Taliban’s Ministry of Justice has declared that the process of reclaiming state lands is proceeding rapidly across the country. Meanwhile, several citizens have reported that the Taliban have declared private lands as state property in many provinces, sparking public outrage.
