RASC News Agency: Commander Sardar Ahmad Ali Gudarzi, leading the Faraja Border Guard, delivered a statement during the gassing ceremony at the Ali Kenar Arshq police station in Meshginshahr on the evening of Tuesday, December 26th. He underscored the collaborative endeavors of the border guards and police forces throughout the country’s provinces. Over the course of nine months this year, more than one million Afghanistani citizens were apprehended and deported from the nation’s borders.

Gudarzi accentuated the efficacy of the stringent security measures implemented by the police forces, effectively deterring the unlawful entry of foreigners into the country. Furthermore, he disclosed the discovery of a substantial quantity of narcotics, totaling 59 tons, at the country’s borders, with the majority found along the eastern borders. Additionally, within the same nine-month period, authorities confiscated 40 kilograms of gold, 36,000 livestock, and over 24 million cigarettes from smugglers.

The commander also announced the deployment of state-of-the-art surveillance equipment along the country’s borders. These intelligent control devices encompass electronic sensor systems, magnetic walls, and other contemporary electronic apparatus. These measures aim to fortify border security and ensure heightened vigilance.

Despite earlier reports indicating restrictions on the employment of Afghanistani nationals in various provinces of Iran and the closure of trades where they were working, Gudarzi reassured that the borders of their country are meticulously maintained and safeguarded by the border guards. Every conceivable effort is being exerted to comprehensively secure these borders.
