RASC News Agency: Amid a series of targeted and enigmatic killings spanning various provinces, recent reports from Baghlan unveil the discovery of a young man’s body, three months after his mysterious disappearance. While the sources remain discreet about the victim’s identity, it is affirmed that the body was recovered on Monday, December 25th, from the Pul-e-Khomri river, as reported by local residents. These sources further unveil that the young man was abducted from Pul-e-Khomri city, and his captors had sought a ransom from his family.
Information from Baghlan sources specifies that the deceased young man was formerly engaged in selling ice cream in Pul-e-Khomri city before his abduction. Notably, the Taliban group has abstained from issuing any statements regarding this particular abduction. Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that preceding this incident, media outlets had already disseminated reports of kidnappings and murders in various provinces.
In a recent case, abductors claimed the life of a child named Mohammad Elyas in Nangarhar province. It is imperative to underscore that a substantial number of these incidents have triggered public condemnation of the Taliban group, with many firmly believing in their involvement in the reprehensible acts of kidnapping and murdering innocent individuals.
