RASC News Agency: Reports from Panjshir province indicate that the Taliban group persists in its vindictive actions against former government employees. Most recently, they seized the house and library of Fazel Ahmad Manawi, the former Minister of Justice and a member of the Afghanistan National Resistance Front. Local sources confirmed this news on Wednesday, December 13th, asserting that the group considers Manawi’s residence government-owned land, situated in Piawesht village, Rokha district of Panjshir province.
It’s noteworthy that the Taliban group has not officially commented on this matter, and Fazel Ahmad Manawi himself has not offered any explanation. However, he previously mentioned that his library in Rokha district was set ablaze by what he labeled the “enemies of humanity.”
Despite the Taliban’s violent and retaliatory actions against former government officials, especially those associated with the National Resistance Front in Panjshir province, they remain unapologetic. Instead, they have arrested, tortured, and even executed individuals from this group. Fazel Ahmad Manawi, a prominent member of the National Resistance Front, has voiced his concerns about the escalating violence perpetrated by the Taliban.
He contends that the group is imprisoning, torturing, and killing young people daily. In a social media message, he underscored the urgent need for a unified front against the Taliban, emphasizing that they are unswayed by divine fear, impervious to international pressure, and neighboring countries have closed their borders to the Afghanistani people.
