RASC News Agency: The Taliban’s Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Livestock recently made an announcement on December 10th, requesting cooperation from Russian animal health officials in the field of livestock. In a newsletter released by the Taliban’s Ministry, it was revealed that a delegation from the Ministry would be participating in an “International Scientific Meeting” held in Vladimir, Russia.
The newsletter highlighted that the meeting focused on discussing the opportunities and challenges faced by Afghanistan’s financial sector, with attendees exchanging their opinions on the matter. Notably, the Taliban delegation, led by Mufti Zakirullah Zakir, traveled to Russia to take part in this international scientific conference.
The conference, which marked the 65th international scientific conference in the animal health sector, was held in the city of Vladimir, Russia. Representatives from various countries, including Afghanistan, Jordan, Lebanon, Russia, Egypt, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Burkina Faso, Morocco, and Armenia, were present at the event. Despite the Taliban’s control over Afghanistan and the withdrawal of international forces, Russia has yet to officially recognize the group. However, diplomatic and economic relations between Russia and the Taliban have been maintained.
It is worth mentioning that since the Taliban’s takeover, the country has faced numerous challenges and changes due to the departure of skilled professionals and the lack of expertise within the group, leading to a crisis in various sectors. It is worth noting that ever since the Taliban took control of the nation, they have encountered various difficulties across multiple industries. Currently, the group has reached out to Russia, seeking assistance specifically in the livestock sector.
