RASC News Agency: The recent surge in targeted and enigmatic killings across various provinces has taken another turn, with reports from Nangarhar revealing the murder of a young man. On Wednesday, December 6th, sources disclosed the discovery of the lifeless body of this young individual in the northern area of Kuzkunar district in Nangarhar province. The victim, identified as “Shaista Gul,” had succumbed to fatal stab wounds, abruptly ending his life.

Despite the increasing incidents and growing concerns surrounding these perplexing murders, the motive and cause behind this specific killing remain shrouded in mystery. Notably, the Taliban group, linked to previous acts of violence, has maintained silence on the matter. The frequency of these targeted killings has reached an unprecedented level across the country, with reports of such incidents becoming a daily occurrence in the media.

The surge in these events has instilled a sense of unease among the citizens of Afghanistan, prompting many to express apprehensions about the state of security in the country. While the Taliban claims to ensure the safety of lives and property nationwide, the recurring reports of mysterious murders cast doubt on their ability to fulfill this promise. Although the perpetrators behind these killings often remain unidentified, a significant number of citizens hold individuals associated with the Taliban group accountable for these acts.

Despite the persistent assertions of the Taliban group regarding the provision of security within the country, the ongoing incidents serve as clear indications that the safety of citizens remains compromised.
