RASC News Agency: As reported on Wednesday, November 29th, by sources from Kabul province, the Taliban group recently apprehended a 16-year-old teenager from Panjshir in the city of Kabul. The teenager, identified as Muhammad Ahzam, was arrested 13 days ago from the Now Abad Cement Khana area in the 16th district of Kabul city. The Taliban group subsequently took him to an undisclosed location.

Despite the passage of 13 days since the teenager’s arrest, there is still no information available regarding his current situation or fate. The Taliban group has not issued any statement regarding the arrest of this Panjshiri teenager by their members. It is important to note that this news of the teenager’s arrest in Kabul city has become public at a time when the Taliban group has escalated its detention of civilians, particularly those hailing from Panjshir province.

The Taliban group has been known to employ harsh and discriminatory tactics against non-Pashtun individuals, particularly the residents of Panjshir province, ever since they assumed control of the country. Reports indicate that the group has been actively arresting, torturing, imprisoning, and even causing the deaths of Panjshiri residents, especially the youth, from various provinces, including Kabul. The situation remains concerning as the fate of the arrested Panjshiri teenager remains unknown, and the Taliban group continues to target civilians from this region.

Despite numerous calls from both national and international entities for the Taliban to cease their practice of arresting, torturing, imprisoning, and killing innocent civilians within the country, this group has persisted in their actions.
