RASC News Agency: Commanders from non-Pashtun backgrounds within the Taliban group, who for years wielded the sword under the banner of the group to achieve their tribal objectives, have dragged the feet of waziristanies to the northern borders behind the doors of their relatives in the north, after two years of the rule of this group, rendered obsolete and discarded like war instruments in the intricate web of tribal intelligence plots. One commander is captured by the intelligence of the group, another stripped of power, both thrown into the trap of tribal intrigues; one faces imprisonment. Following the issuance of a travel ban directive for Faseehuddin Fetrat along with two Uzbek-origin commanders of the group to their northern homeland by Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada, the group’s intelligence surrounded Mr. Fetrat’s house, preventing his journey to his home in Badakhshan, as reported by Sputnik Russia, citing its sources within the Taliban. The intelligence reportedly besieged Mr. Fetrat’s residence in the Baharistan area of Kabul on Saturday, November 25th, preventing his travel to Badakhshan province.
Meanwhile according to Sputnik news agency, the house of this Tajik-origin commander, a member of the Taliban, in Kabul came under siege after the special forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban detained the former chief of intelligence for Badakhshan, who was closely associated with Mr. Fetrat. Qari Fasihuddin Fetrat, the current chief of staff for the Taliban army, wields extensive control over all military operations, including the detention of individuals, in accordance with his duties and authority. Despite his position of power, he has received no reports of any efforts made by the Ministry of Defense’s special forces within this group to apprehend the former chief of intelligence in Badakhshan. Simultaneously with the besieging of Mr. Fetrat’s house in Kabul, local sources in Badakhshan province confirmed that the special forces of the Taliban had detained the former intelligence chief of the group in Fayzabad, the capital of this province. According to sources, this former Tajik-origin Taliban commander was arrested early on Friday, November 24th, in Fayzabad and transferred to Kabul.
Prior to this, the special forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban had detained Bukhshullah Yaftali, the commander of the Farmaan highway district in Badakhshan. Bukhshullah Yaftali, was the main resident of Yaftal payan district iof Badakhshan province and affiliated with Fasihuddin Fetrat, who was appointed as the highway commander of this provonce after the Taliban’s takeover of the country. In the midst of this, Sputnik News, citing sources in the northern provinces, reported that the Taliban group has been collecting “heavy” military equipment and weapons from the northern provinces for some time and then transferring them to the southern provinces, mainly Kandahar.
Last week,RASC News Agency obtained information in which Mullah Hebatullah, leader affiliated with the Taliban group, had entrusted the task to the ministry of interior and the intelligence directorate of this group, to prevent Tajik commander and chief of army staff, Fasihuddin Badakhshani, Makhdoom Alim, and Qari Salahuddin, two Uzbek commanders of the group, from traveling to their hometown in the north without the approval of the leadership authorities of the group. Fasihuddin Badakhshani, known as the conqueror of the north and the conqueror of Panjshir province within the Taliban group, has led all the suppressive battles against opposing fronts of the Taliban group following their takeover of Afghanistan.
Political observers have called the increasing restrictions on non-Pashtun commanders of the Taliban group as a gradual elimination of their influence and have stated that the Taliban’s integrity-seeking group has all possible options to implement the project of Pashtunizing the north of Afghanistan and intends to eliminate or imprison commanders who even have the slightest ability to mobilize people at the grassroots level. Fasihuddin is the only non-Pashtun individual in the Ministry of Defense of the Taliban group, who, in a symbolic manner, without any qualifications or authority, has been utilized solely for the purpose of waging war in the north and suppressing several popular movements in these provinces, including Badakhshan. However, currently, in addition to being unable to travel to his hometown, he is besieged by the intelligence of this group, and all commanders and individuals associated with him are detained on various charges after being stripped of their duties for a period of time.
