RASC News Agency: Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema Pakistan Party, has conveyed a significant message following his meeting with Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Taliban group. The message entails Mullah Hibatullah’s directive to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistani (TTP) to reduce the frequency of their attacks and violence within Pakistani territory.

Upon his return to Pakistan from Afghanistan, Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman shared this development with the Pakistani authorities. However, the government of Pakistan has not expressed a favorable response to this matter, as reported by Pakistani media on Wednesday, January 17th.

According to the information obtained from the Express Tribune, the leader of the Taliban group has firmly emphasized the necessity of dialogue between the Pakistani government and the TTP as the sole solution to address the prevailing insecurity crisis in Pakistan. Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman’s recent visit to Kandahar involved meetings with senior officials of the Taliban group, including its leader. Various topics were discussed during these meetings, encompassing the TTP and the forced repatriation of Afghanistani refugees from Pakistan.

It is crucial to acknowledge that Pakistan has witnessed a surge in terrorist attacks in recent months. This alarming trend has instilled a great deal of concern among Pakistani officials and the citizens of the nation, prompting a pressing need for effective measures to combat this menace.
