RASC News Agency: The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, under the leadership of Ahmad Massoud, recently declared the execution of a guerrilla assault on a Taliban stronghold in the Nurgaram district of Nuristan province. As per a communique released by the Front on Friday, November 24th, the nocturnal covert operation, under the command of Fazel Rabi Rahmani, transpired at approximately 11:00 PM the preceding night. The National Resistance Front reports that the offensive resulted in the demise of two Taliban operatives, with an additional two sustaining injuries.

Information regarding any repercussions to the National Resistance Front’s forces stemming from this operation has not been disclosed, and the Taliban has refrained from making any statements regarding the incident. This development unfolds amidst a notable escalation in assaults by opposition factions against the Taliban in various provinces, with frequent accounts of casualties within the Taliban’s ranks.

It is noteworthy that the Afghanistan Freedom Front had previously reported launching offensives against Taliban forces, resulting in casualties, in the provinces of Kapisa and Parwan. Importantly, following the Taliban’s assumption of control, fronts such as the Afghanistan Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan declared their opposition under the banner of the National Mobilization Front.

Additionally, reports indicate that subsequent to their takeover of Afghanistan, the Taliban has engaged in profoundly repressive and violent conduct towards Afghanistani civilians. The leaders of these fronts have affirmed their commitment to sustaining these operations until the conclusion of the Taliban’s governance.
