RASC News Agency: According to sources from Balkh province, unidentified armed individuals have gunned down a woman in the Chemtal district of the province. Sources have told the media on Thursday, November 23rd, that this woman, was initially beaten in front of her children and husband in her home in Asyab Ferqa village in Chemtal district on Monday evening, November 20th, and subsequently shot. As per the sources, the victim of the shooting that occurred recently in Balkh province was identified as Gulalai, a 30-year-old woman and native of Mazar-e-Sharif city. She belonged to the Turkmen ethnic group and had been residing in Chamtal district of Balkh province for some time

However, at the same time, some sources claim that Taliban forces accused this woman of moral corruption, entered her home, and after beating her, murdered her. This comes as recently there has been a significant increase in targeted and mysterious homicides in various provinces of the country, and in most of these incidents, the public holds the Taliban responsible. In the latest incident, according to sources, earlier, Taliban forces in the Qaysar district of Faryab province murdered a 28-year-old woman after arresting her at a checkpoint.

It is worth mentioning that since their control of the country, the Taliban have imposed oppressive restrictions on Afghanistani citizens, especially women and youths, and reports from some provinces indicate that members of this group imprison or even kill women and girls under various pretexts. It should be noted that the actions of the Taliban against Afghanistani women and girls have prompted widespread domestic and international reactions, yet the group has shown no flexibility in this regard.
