RASC News Agency: In response to the forced expulsion of Afghanistani immigrants by Pakistan, Angelina Jolie, the renowned Hollywood actress, recently expressed her concerns about the deteriorating state of human rights worldwide. Jolie conveyed her thoughts on this matter through a message on Instagram, emphasizing that the forced deportation of Afghanistani immigrants from Pakistan is yet another tragic event in the long history of suffering endured by the Afghanistani people.

Highlighting the ongoing struggles faced by the people of Afghanistan, Jolie lamented the fact that the world seems to be abandoning them despite previous promises of a brighter future. She expressed her disappointment at the deportation of refugees who are already grappling with the harsh realities of survival in present-day Afghanistan. Jolie particularly emphasized the dire situation faced by women and girls in the country, where their rights, including access to education, are denied, and many are subjected to imprisonment and a deep humanitarian crisis.

Jolie’s statements came amidst the Pakistani government’s ultimatum for undocumented Afghanistani immigrants to leave the country by November 1, or face deportation back to Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban. Disturbing reports have also emerged, indicating that the Pakistani authorities have not only targeted immigrants without proper documentation but have also arrested individuals with valid residency documents. Furthermore, Pakistani human rights activists have raised concerns about police raids on the homes of Afghanistani immigrants, with women and children being among those detained in the Sindh state of Pakistan.
