RASC News Agency: According to sources, the website of Bakhtar News Agency, which is supervised by the Taliban group, has been inaccessible and blocked for unknown reasons. On Sunday, November 12th, a source close to the agency informed the media that the closure was due to technical issues, resulting in a complete cutoff of access to the website. However, Bakhtar News Agency, under the control of the Taliban, has not provided any official statement regarding the cause of the website’s unavailability and blockage.

In recent days, sources have noticed that this news agency has exclusively been updating and publishing its daily reports on the social media platform X, while the website remains stagnant without any updated content. It is worth mentioning that in Afghanistan, where the Taliban group assumes power, this news agency has played a crucial role in covering most of the group’s activities and regime affairs.

In related news, since the Taliban group regained control of Afghanistan, Meta company has announced limitations on the group’s activities on Facebook. The company has restricted the operations of several Facebook pages associated with the Taliban, including the National TV channel under their control. Despite these restrictions, reports indicate that the Taliban group continues to engage in activities and propaganda on the social media platform X, using it as a means to disseminate their content.

It is important to note that since the Taliban group took control of the country, their intelligence has been closely monitoring the social media activities of Afghanistani citizens. Individuals who publish content against the group are identified, arrested, and sometimes even imprisoned by the Taliban authorities.
