RASC News Agency: Sources from Badakhshan province have confirmed that several distant districts in the province experienced heavy snowfall from last night until today, November 9th, with some areas receiving more than 10cm of snow. According to sources from Badakhshan province, districts such as Yawan, Raghistan, Kohistan, five districts of Darwaz, and Pamir witnessed this heavy snowfall. The thickness of the snow in certain areas has already exceeded 10cm, and if the snowfall continues, the province may face even heavier snowfall.

It is worth mentioning that Badakhshan province, being one of the most mountainous provinces in the country, experiences heavy snowfall every year. This leads to the blockage of transportation routes in most districts, causing significant transportation problems for the local population. The early onset of cold weather this year has raised concerns among the residents, as it has resulted in the blocking of these routes even before the official start of winter. Additionally, aid agencies have reported a lack of funds to provide assistance to the needy in remote areas, coinciding with the approaching winter season.

Meanwhile, residents of Kabul have expressed their dissatisfaction with the high fuel prices as the cold winter approaches. In a recent report, they highlighted their inability to purchase fuel due to unaffordable prices and insufficient working conditions. This issue further exacerbates the challenges faced by the population during the winter season. As the country prepares for the cold weather, it is crucial to address these concerns and ensure that necessary aid reaches the remote areas in need.
