RASC News Agency: Thomas West, the US representative for Afghanistan peace affairs, recently responded to the recent explosion in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of western Kabul, stating that attacks on thousands of civilians must be stopped. Yesterday, November 8th, Thomas West reposted the report of Richard Bent, the United Nations special human rights reporter in Afghanistan, and in a message on social media platform X, referred to this terrorist attack as “horrific” and “merciless.”

He added that he called for a transparent investigation to identify and hold accountable the perpetrators of these attacks, as the devastating casualties of the third attack on thousands in less than a month are truly heart-wrenching.
Meanwhile, Richard Bent had previously stated in a message on social media platform X that there must be a comprehensive and transparent investigation to identify and respond to the perpetrators of such attacks in western Kabul.

It is worth mentioning that on Tuesday evening, November 7th, a civilian bus in the “Gulai Mahtab Qala” square, part of the sixth security district of Kabul, was targeted by a mine explosion, resulting in the deaths and injuries of nearly 50 people. Meanwhile, a few hours after the explosion, ISIS claimed responsibility for this terrorist attack in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of western Kabul in a message published on the AMAQ website, which is associated with the group.

It should be noted that this is the third attack on civilians in predominantly Hazara-populated areas that has occurred in less than a month, resulting in casualties, and ISIS has claimed responsibility for it.
