RASC News Agency: Local Taliban authorities in the provinces of Zabul, Oruzgan, and Parwan have reported the deaths and injuries of 20 individuals due to four traffic accidents in these provinces. Zabihullah Jawhar, the spokesperson for the Taliban command in Zabul province, stated to the media on Tuesday November 7th, that a traffic incident occurred yesterday resulting from a collision between two Toyota Hilux pickup trucks in the vicinity of this province.
According to this Taliban authority in Zabul province, this traffic accident took place in the suburbs of Mizan district, resulting in one woman’s fatality and 14 injuries, including another woman. Moreover, based on the information, as a result of another traffic incident in the center of Zabul province caused by a collision between a A fast-paced car and a motorcycle, two individuals were injured.
Meanwhile, as per the reports from local sources in Parwan province, a child lost their life due to a traffic accident that occurred in Dehrawood district. The incident involved a high-speed vehicle hitting the child.
On the other hand, according to local sources, another traffic incident took place in the center of Oruzgan province, resulting from a collision between a Ranger pickup truck of the Taliban group and a motorcycle. One person lost their life, and one person was injured.
It is worth noting that prior to this, traffic incidents in various provinces of the country have caused the loss of lives and injuries to several Afghanistani citizens.
Reckless driving, disregard for traffic laws, road defects and lack of standardization, excessive speeding, and lack of knowledge about certain routes are among the factors that occasionally lead to traffic incidents.
