RASC News Agency: Asef Akhlaqi, the Afghanistani athlete, has achieved the title of the champion of Swiss Taekwondo. Akhlaqi, who was previously a member of the Afghanistan national Taekwondo team, has now succeeded in winning the championship title in the 67-kilogram weight category by defeating all his competitors in the Swiss Taekwondo competition. Reports indicate that this Afghanistani sportsman left Afghanistan a few months ago and now resides in Europe.

Furthermore, Asef Akhlaqi also achieved the championship titles in last year’s Zurich Open and Whitwell Open competitions. Meanwhile, in the continuation of these sporting competitions, according to media reports, Haseebullah Malikzada, an Afghanistani boxer, managed to defeat his Scottish opponent and become the champion in the final match of the “Sultan Ring” competition.

It is said that the final match between the two athletes, which took place on Sunday night, November 5th in Sweden, was held in the 60-kilogram weight category, and Haseebullah was able to win the gold medal of this competition. It should be noted that before reaching the final match of this competition, Malikzada had also competed against opponents from England and Sweden, defeating them and reaching the final match.

According to information, besides obtaining the medal and championship belt of this competition, Haseebullah Malikzada has also been recognized as the best boxer of this edition of “Sultan Ring” competition in Sweden.
Furthermore, alongside Malikzada, Suleiman Saighani also managed to win the gold medal in the 75-kilogram weight category, and Zaki Laghmani won the silver medal in the 63.5-kilogram weight category.
It is worth mentioning that the “Sultan Ring” competition was hosted by Sweden and involved the participation of 24 countries and around 300 athletes.
