RASC News Agency: In a continuous series of stringent measures imposed by the Taliban on the populace, the Head of Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Ghazni province has once again restricted access to medical treatment for both male and female patients. This decree, received by the media on November 5th, reveals that under the new directive, healthcare centers within the province are now prohibited from treating male and female patients in the same facility.

According to sources in Ghazni province, who shared these details, the Taliban’s Head of Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice has demanded that treatment facilities for men and women be completely separate, with a substantial physical distance between them. Furthermore, officials from this ministry have declared severe consequences for healthcare center personnel who fail to adhere to this directive.

It is essential to acknowledge that this order is being issued at a time when numerous healthcare centers, particularly hospitals in the province, already suffer from inadequate infrastructure and lack appropriate space to accommodate patients. These challenges only exacerbate the current plight faced by the citizens due to the ongoing restrictions imposed by the Taliban.
