RASC News Agency: Three individuals lost their lives in a traffic incident in Kandahar province, as confirmed by local sources. The incident took place today, on Saturday, November 4th, in the Daman district of the province. Two car models, the “Luxel” and “Mira,” were involved in the collision.
In addition to the fatalities, four individuals sustained injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital for medical treatment. At present, the identities of the deceased and injured persons remain unknown, as no further details have been provided.

It is important to note that the cause of this traffic incident was excessive speed, according to the sources. This event underscores the ongoing issue of traffic accidents in various provinces of the country. Yesterday, in Kunar province, another traffic accident resulted in ten fatalities and injuries.
Experts attribute these incidents to several factors, including extensive road damage, drivers’ lack of knowledge of driving principles and regulations, speeding, and unfamiliarity with certain routes.

Furthermore, the prolonged conflict and warfare between the security forces of the fallen government and the Taliban group have significantly contributed to the deterioration of roads in the region.
Acknowledging the grievances expressed by drivers and passengers about the damaged roads and the challenges they face while traveling on these routes is crucial. The conflicts that have plagued the country for several decades have had a lasting impact on the infrastructure, making it increasingly hazardous for individuals to commute safely.

Therefore, it is imperative for authorities to address these concerns and prioritize the repair and maintenance of roads to ensure the safety of all road users.
