RASC News Agency: In the wake of recent arrests carried out by the Taliban group across various provinces in Afghanistan, including Panjshir province, reports emerge from local sources in Panjshir. These sources reveal the arrest of five young individuals in Dara district, with the Taliban subjecting them to brutal beatings in a display of public violence. The incident took place on Friday, October 27th in Pujawa village, when the Taliban forcibly expelled the youths from their homes before launching a merciless assault.
Further information gathered from reliable sources identifies the young individuals as Shams Rahman, Ahmad Farid, Nadir Shah, Fazal Rabi, and Sirajul Haq. While three of them have been released, the fate of the remaining two remains unknown. The Taliban group continues to escalate their campaigns by carrying out daily invasions on the villages of Panjshir province, purposefully targeting and demolishing numerous homes. The frequency of arrests and torture inflicted upon the residents of Panjshir by the Taliban group raises deep concern.
Recent reports also indicate that just last week in Kabul, the Taliban shot four young individuals hailing from Panjshir, with three others forcefully taken captive. It is essential to highlight that since the Taliban’s seizure of power in Afghanistan, they have relentlessly targeted and arrested countless young individuals in Panjshir, falsely accusing them of collaborating with the National Resistance Front. Tragically, most cases involving these individuals have resulted in fatal consequences. The situation remains highly alarming, with the Taliban group continuing to perpetrate violence and flagrant human rights abuses within the region.
