RASC News Agency: The Serbian police have apprehended a total of six individuals in connection with the shooting incident near the Serbia-Hungary border that resulted in the deaths of three individuals and the injury of another. Among them are four Afghanistani immigrants and two Turkish citizens. These individuals have been taken into custody on charges associated with the illegal transportation of weapons and explosives. However, it is still unclear whether they are directly involved in the shooting incident.

Initial reports indicate that the altercation took place in an abandoned warehouse near the village of Horgos in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, Serbia. The Serbian police intervened to address the conflict. During their operation, they seized two automatic rifles and a significant amount of ammunition. Furthermore, the police arrested and detained 79 migrants who were involved in the altercation. Subsequently, they were transferred to designated reception centers.

It is imperative to recognize that the recent surge in Afghanistani citizens leaving their homeland is a direct consequence of the Taliban’s taking control. This unfortunate development has led to a rise in unemployment, increased poverty, and severe restrictions on the lives of Afghanistani citizens. As a result, many individuals have been compelled to seek refuge in neighboring countries and even beyond, embarking on a perilous journey filled with countless challenges. This is especially true for those aspiring to reach European nations.

In conclusion, while six individuals, including four Afghanistani immigrants and two Turkish citizens, have been apprehended on charges related to illegal weapons and explosives transportation, their association with the shooting incident near the Serbia-Hungary border is yet to be confirmed. The intervention by the Serbian police in response to the conflict among migrant groups resulted in the confiscation of firearms and ammunition, as well as the arrest of 79 migrants. The increasing number of Afghanistani citizens leaving their country is primarily driven by the Taliban’s control, causing widespread hardships such as unemployment, poverty, and stringent limitations on their daily lives. As they seek sanctuary in various countries, particularly European nations, these individuals face numerous obstacles along their arduous journey.
