RASC News Agency: Local sources from Kapisa province have confirmed that the Hesa Awal building in Kohistan district has been targeted by rocket attacks carried out by unidentified armed individuals.

According to the sources, on Saturday night, October 21st, at approximately 12:00, five rockets were fired at the Hesa Awal building in Kohistan district, Kapisa province. However, no further details have been provided regarding the specifics of the rocket attacks.

Additionally, local residents have informed the media that an armed confrontation took place between members of the Taliban group and the unidentified armed individuals following the rocket launch. However, no information has been provided regarding the resulting casualties or damages from this conflict.

The incident in Kapisa province involving the Taliban group remains unexplained as they have not provided any clarification thus far. Importantly, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack on the Hesa Awak building in Kohistan district.

Concurrently, prior to this incident, opposition factions of the Taliban, such as the Freedom Front and the National Resistance Front, had declared covert operations against the Taliban in various provinces across the country.

It is worth mentioning that the Afghanistan Freedom Front, a group that emerged earlier, announced military assaults against Taliban forces in Balkh province, resulting in casualties with eight members killed and injured.

Furthermore, it is noteworthy that these newly formed factions, following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, have vowed to persist with their military campaigns until the liberation of the country from the control of the Taliban group.
