RASC News Agency: The concerns of the Kyrgyzstan government regarding their fellow Kyrgyz residing in the Pamirs of Afghanistan have triggered extensive media coverage. Reports confirm the dispatch of a substantial two-ton consignment of humanitarian aid to the region as a proactive measure. This compassionate initiative was executed under the direct order of Sadir Jabarov, the President of Kyrgyzstan. Furthermore, it has been reported by the reputable Kyrgyz News Agency 24 that a specialized team of Kyrgyz doctors has been dispatched to conduct thorough medical examinations on approximately 600 local inhabitants of the Pamirs of Afghanistan.

Moreover, in order to address the prevention of various diseases in the precarious Pamir region, Kyrgyzstan organized and carried out an extensive training course. Remarkably, this proactive move was taken despite the previous announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, acknowledging the alarming mortality rate among Kyrgyz individuals residing in the Pamirs of Afghanistan. The primary causes cited were the challenging living conditions and the outbreak of an unidentified virus.

The inhabitants of Pamir have fervently expressed their grievances, particularly highlighting the absence of healthcare facilities in the area. They lament the arduous journey of traveling for several hours in order to access medical assistance. It is crucial to note that the Pamir region is geographically divided into two parts – the small Pamir and the great Pamir – situated in the Wakhan district of the Badakhshan province, located in the northeastern region of Afghanistan.

It is not only the Pamir districts that are grappling with medical challenges and a lack of proper healthcare facilities. Various regions across Afghanistan are also suffering from similar issues. The citizens of Afghanistan find themselves contending not only with grave security concerns, but also with economic, social, and numerous other challenges. Unfortunately, their already difficult circumstances are exacerbated by the absence of an effective governing body to address these pressing concerns. Regrettably, the Taliban group prioritizes their own interests and financial gains, showing a blatant disregard for the well-being and welfare of the populace.

In the face of these immense obstacles, efforts from neighboring countries like Kyrgyzstan to provide humanitarian aid and medical assistance serve as a beacon of hope amidst the darkness. The international community must join forces in supporting and prioritizing the well-being of the people of Afghanistan, with the hope of fostering a brighter future for all.
