RASC News Agency: In the wake of the prevailing issue of domestic violence that continues to plague various provinces in our country, coupled with the disturbing incidence of mysterious murders, recent reports from local sources shed light on a distressing incident that unfolded in the province of Badghis. Tragically, a man named Ismail residing in this region has taken the lives of his two wives.

According to reliable sources, this tragic event unfolded around 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, in the Haji Qurbanha area of Qads district within Badghis province. Shockingly, Ismail resorted to using a hunting weapon to commit this unfathomable act of violence.

Further revelations from the sources indicate that this horrifying incident was fueled by the ongoing conflicts between Ismail’s two wives, conflicts that had escalated to an unbearable extent, prompting the man to resort to such extreme measures.

Verified sources have confirmed that the individual responsible for this horrific act promptly fled the scene of the crime following the untimely demise of his wives. In response, the Taliban organization, upon learning of the incident, has pledged their dedication to apprehending the perpetrator.

This disheartening development adds to the string of recent incidents, including a similar case in Farah where a man took the life of his spouse. It is crucial to highlight that since the inception of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan, instances of domestic violence have surged across various provinces, with a significant number of women falling victim to these acts of violence.

The Taliban regime inherently fosters an environment that allows for the disregard of women’s rights, both within communities and even within families. This results in significant sacrifices made by women and girls, who bear the brunt of the Taliban’s oppressive governance.
