RASC News Agency: In the face of ongoing violence, torture, and covert killings committed by the Taliban, recent reports from Kabul have confirmed the tragic death of a young man who fell victim to their brutal tactics in the province.
Sources indicate that the Taliban apprehended the victim, identified as Matiullah Fatahzada, a year and a half ago for sharing photographs of the National Resistance Front forces. Sadly, he succumbed to the atrocious torture inflicted upon him by the group just two days ago.

Furthermore, these sources reveal that Matiullah hailed from the Umarz area of Panjshir and had been residing in the Khairkhana area of Kabul city at the time of his arrest. Despite the persistent efforts of his family, relatives, and friends to secure his release during his imprisonment, their endeavors proved futile.

Additionally, the grieving family members of the deceased assert that Matiullah had no affiliations with any specific group, emphasizing that his murder was solely motivated by his strong Panjshiri identity. It is important to acknowledge that the Taliban has systematically targeted and subjected numerous young individuals from Panjshir to arbitrary arrests, torture, and even death over the past two years, suspecting them of having ties to the National Resistance Front.

It is crucial to highlight that throughout their two-year reign in Afghanistan, the Taliban have consistently targeted both former military personnel and civilians nationwide, with a particular emphasis on Panjshir province. They have resorted to coercive tactics, forcibly recruiting individuals into the National Resistance Front, subjecting them to unimaginable torture and severe physical abuse.
