RASC News Agency: In the wake of the recent seismic upheaval in Herat province, coupled with China’s unwavering commitment to rendering assistance to the affected populace, reliable sources have officially confirmed the arrival of the maiden consignment of aid from China in the country.

Media outlets were duly notified on Monday, October 16, that the initial consignment of aid from the Chinese government had arrived at Herat province’s airport, nestled in the western region of the nation. This development spiraled into motion in the early hours of that morning.
Per the information relayed, the entrusted authorities of the Taliban group in Herat have taken control of this shipment and are now at the helm of its distribution among the earthquake victims residing in the province.

The sources have intimated that this specific Chinese aid shipment will be exclusively allocated to the families directly affected by the devastating earthquake in Herat province, especially those in dire need of tents and essential supplies.
It is of utmost importance to underscore that the recent tremors within Herat province have exacted a heavy toll on human lives and inflicted significant financial ailments on thousands of families that call this region home.

Additionally, numerous countries across the globe, following in China’s humanitarian footsteps, have expressed their unwavering determination to extend assistance to the victims of these earthquakes. Some nations have already commenced the delivery of their aid to the afflicted individuals within the past few days.
Meanwhile, the recent seismic activity, along with subsequent quakes, in various parts of Herat province, notably in the Zinda Jan and Karukh districts, have utterly ravaged the residential dwellings of the local inhabitants.

Regrettably, the earthquakes that have struck Herat province over the past week have wrought catastrophic consequences, leading to the untimely demise of thousands, the injury of numerous others, and the disappearance of certain individuals.
It is important to mention that certain sources originating from Herat province have expressed grave concerns regarding the haphazard distribution of limited supplies by the Taliban group operating within the province, levying accusations of contradictory conduct and inconsistent implementation.
