RASC News Agency: After the apprehension of Zhulia Parsi and Nida Parwani, two Afghanistani women’s rights activists, by the Taliban group, members of the “Window of Hope Women’s Movement” are fervently advocating for their immediate release. In a compelling statement released on Wednesday, October 11, members of the movement passionately implore human rights organizations to take swift and decisive action against the Taliban’s continuous perpetration of crimes against women.
According to the “Window of Hope Women’s Movement,” Zhulia Parsi and Nida Parwani, both esteemed women’s rights activists, have tragically fallen victim to the despicable gender apartheid enforced by the Taliban group. The movement has issued a steadfast declaration, beseeching human rights defenders worldwide to fulfill their solemn responsibility to these women by promptly addressing the atrocities committed by the Taliban.

In addition, the members of this movement boldly call for global recognition of the insidious gender apartheid perpetuated by the Taliban group. They demand that the international community acknowledge and confront this systematic oppression, which denies women their basic human rights and freedoms.
The “Window of Hope Women’s Movement” delivers disheartening reports of the appalling conditions endured by Zhulia Parsi and Nida Parwani while in Taliban custody. These brave activists have been unjustly denied access to legal representation, proper nourishment, and essential healthcare services. Furthermore, they have been cruelly isolated from their families, despite being separately apprehended by the Taliban group in Kabul province.

The arrest of these valiant women’s rights activists has sparked an outpouring of outrage across the globe. Human rights organizations and UN officials have been resolute in their demands for the immediate release of Parsi and Parwani from Taliban custody. It is crucial to note that the Taliban group has a distressing history of detaining and subjecting women involved in peaceful protests to various forms of torture within the country.
This flagrant violation of human rights cannot go unchallenged. The international community must unite to condemn the Taliban’s actions and exert significant pressure on the group to release Zhulia Parsi and Nida Parwani immediately. Their unjust detention is a stark reminder of the critical importance of defending and advocating for the rights of women in all corners of the world.
