RASC News Agency: The government of Pakistan has officially announced its provision of humanitarian aid to assist the victims affected by the earthquake in the Herat province. Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting Prime Minister of Pakistan, declared that aid was dispatched on Monday, October 9, to Afghanistan in response to the devastating earthquake that occurred.

The interim prime minister further stated that the aid package includes a medical team, 50 tents, and 500 blankets, all of which have been sent from Pakistan to Afghanistan. Mr. Kakar also issued a directive to the National Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan, instructing them to provide maximum assistance to those affected by the earthquake.

Prior to Pakistan’s announcement, the United Nations, Germany, and China had also pledged to provide financial aid packages to support the victims of the earthquake in the Herat province. Additionally, Iran and Turkey have dispatched their respective humanitarian aids to assist in the recovery efforts.

Furthermore, numerous citizens across the country have initiated campaigns to collect aid for the victims of this tragic incident. Notably, a prominent billionaire has also pledged a substantial donation of 200 million Afghan currency to support the earthquake victims.
The earthquake, which occurred on Saturday, October 7, resulted in the loss of numerous lives and left many individuals displaced in various parts of the Herat province. However, some citizens of the Herat province have criticized the Taliban group for their perceived negligence and inadequate management of the country’s situation.

Unfortunately, earthquakes frequently occur in different provinces of the country, causing significant human and financial losses.
