RASC News Agency: According to local sources in Faryab province, it has been reported that a security guard working for Afghanistan Wireless Telecommunication Company (AWCC) was brutally murdered in Pashtun kot district.
The victim, identified as Khal Murad, was found lifeless in Shakmani village within the same district. It has been disclosed that Khal Murad, aged around 40, was ruthlessly slain near the company’s antenna installation by unidentified attackers.
The motive behind this heinous act remains undisclosed, leaving many questions unanswered. However, the Taliban authorities in Faryab province have taken up the responsibility to investigate the matter thoroughly and bring the culprits to justice.
In relation to this tragic incident, the Taliban forces have detained two local residents suspected of being involved in this murder.
A concerning trend has emerged across the country, characterized by an alarming rise in targeted killings shrouded in secrecy. Prior reports from Kandahar province had outlined the fatal shooting of two individuals in Spin Boldak district by unknown assailants.
The increasing frequency of such killings can be attributed to the lack of comprehensive investigations and follow-ups. This worrisome trend has become more prevalent under the Taliban’s governance.
Furthermore, in Badakhshan province, a prominent commander from the previous government fell victim to a ruthless assassination at the hands of unidentified gunmen, and these cases are growing across the province and districts of the country.
Despite the Taliban’s claims of heightened security measures, Afghanistan continues to witness a disturbing escalation of mysterious homicides and criminal incidents across different regions.
