RASC News Agency: A number of youths of Jawzjan province who gathered in a meeting criticized the closure of educational centers for girls in the country.

Those who gathered at the opening ceremony of the Center for Business Development and Online Business Training say that education is mandatory for men and women and the authorities should provide the basis for it.

The Center for Business Development and Online Business Training has been opened and started working by an international institution called ACTED in the city of Shaberghan, the center of Jawzjan province.

Amanullah Amin, the head of ACTED Institute in Jawzjan Province, says that with the start of this center, more than five thousand people will receive professional training in various departments.

According to Mr. Amin, these sections include (online business, English language and computer training, graphic design and other professional sections).

Some of the young people, who participated in this gathering, while welcoming the opening of this center, strongly criticized the closure of schools and universities for girls.

They say that the opening of such educational centers does not take the place of schools and universities, so the voice of the people should be raised for schools and universities reopening.

These young people pointed to religious and Islamic teachings and emphasized that the religion of Islam also emphasized that the acquisition of science and knowledge is mandatory for men and women.

It should be mentioned that it has been nearly two years that the Taliban group closed schools and universities for girls and did not allow them to continue their studies.
