RASC News Agency: The Taliban have announced their assistance to impoverished families in Faryab, Samangan, and Maidan Wardak.
As per their reports, a total of 11,525 families have been aided in these regions. On 5th October , the Taliban Department of Rural Reconstruction and Development in Faryab Province stated that the World Food Program had allocated food aid to 9,539 families within the province. The aid has been distributed among the residents of Khan chahar bagh, Qaramqul, Dawlatabad, Garziwan, and Almar districts.

Local officials affiliated with the Taliban in the Samangan rural rehabilitation and development directorate have reported the distribution of food packages from the UN World Food Program to 1,943 families in Dara Souf District, Samangan Province. The distribution was carried out in collaboration with the ASIO Institute.

In a newsletter released on Thursday, October 5th, the Department of Combat Against Natural Disasters stated that the Danish Refugee Council had provided financial assistance to 43 families affected by flooding in the central regions of Maidan Wardak, Cheek, and Daimirdad districts.

Per the news release, each family was allocated 71,500 of the nation’s common currency and a sum of 3,740,000 in cash in the country’s currency.

It is noteworthy that ever since the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan, the economic situation of its citizens has been worsening with each passing day. As such, the demand for international assistance has increased significantly.
