RASC News Agency: Local officials of the Taliban group in Paktika Province announce the distribution of food to more than three thousand needy families in this province.

On Monday October 2, WFP distributed food to two thousand five hundred and seventeen needy families in the provinces of Paktika with the assistance of CAHPO organization. On the same day, the Department of Refugees & Returnees Affairs  of the Taliban Group  released a newsletter in which it was reported that WFP distributed food aid to 2,500 needy families in the province of Paktika’s Argon and Barmal districts.

It is also stated in this newsletter that 65 Waziristani families living in these districts have also benefited from this aid.

On the other hand, the Department of Rural Rehabilitation and Development of the Taliban group in Paktika has said that food has been distributed to 540 needy families in Dila district of this province.

It is important to note that due to the high level of poverty and economic hardship in Afghanistan, WFP always distribute food and cash to families in several provinces of Afghanistan.

The economy of the Afghanistani people is in its worst level, world humanitarian organizations mostly distribute aids to the needy families, but according to these families, they need much more attention to their situation.

The result of this situation is the current rule of the Taliban group in the country, after this group domination in the country hundreds of thousands people lost their income which led to an economical crisis in the country which most of them left the country and the rest are living in the country.
