RASC News Agency: A family in Daikundi province said that their daughter-in-law was forcibly taken away by the bodyguard of the Taliban group commander in Eshterli district of this province and taken to Helmand province.
A family member of the husband of this family said on the condition of anonymity that this woman had married the son of this family two years ago and they lived in Nili district, the center of Daikandi province.
He said: “This married woman, who has a four-month-old daughter, goes to her parents’ house in Eshterli district, but then the bodyguard of the Taliban security commander in this district, named Mohammadzai, forcibly took this married woman from her parents’ house escaped to the Helmand province.”
This family says that it has filed a complaint against the security commander of the Taliban group for Eshterli district in the Daikundi court. However, the judicial department of the Taliban group has taken no action.
This family demands the arrest and punishment of this member of the Taliban group.
Nevertheless, a local insider said that this member of the Taliban group took this married woman to Helmand with her own consent.
This influential person said: “This woman got married two years ago and has a four-month-old daughter. She quarrels a bit with her husband’s family and two months ago, she came to her parents’ house in Khushak area. Later, her husband came twice after his wife to take her to Nili; but his mother-in-law did not allow her daughter.”
This local elder says that a member of the Taliban group came to the house of this married woman’s father twice and then transferred her to Helmand “with her consent” and the people have criticized this issue.
The security commander of the Taliban group in Eshterli district of Daikundi province refused to talk to the media about this.
But Musafir Khalid, the governor of the Taliban group in Eshterli district, rejected the statements of this family and said: “In the past year, between 30 and 40 young girls have fled with the boys and with their own consent, but none of them are members of the Taliban.” “
Local residents criticize this work of the Taliban group and complain that the wrongdoings of the members of the Taliban group are not investigated.
