RASC News Agency: Turkish media have reported that Turkey has donated 20 tons of medical supplies to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Health.

Anatolia news agency published a report that the aid arrived in Kabul on September 18, at the request of the Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan under the control of the Taliban group.

In this report, it is stated that the medical aid in Kabul has been delivered to the Ministry of Health officials under the management of Taliban group.

It is said that these aids include surgical supplies, sterilization materials, masks, devices and various medical units.

Omar Doghrokol, the adviser of the Turkish Embassy in Kabul, said that the aid sent by the Turkish government will be sent to the necessary areas of Afghanistan, and in this way, Turkey will help in providing health services to the people of Afghanistan, especially children.

This is despite the fact that not long ago, the special care department for children was established and put into operation by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in the private hospital of Farah province.

It should be mentioned that with the emergence of the Taliban group in the country, health institutions have faced challenges along with other institutions in Afghanistan.

It should be noted that international health organizations have repeatedly warned of the challenges in the Afghanistan Ministry of Health under the control of the Taliban group.

It should be noted that many times citizens in different parts of the country have complained about the lack of access to standard health services.
