Freedom Front Forces Launch Attack on Taliban Gathering in Kabul

RASC News Agency: The Freedom Front of Afghanistan has announced that its forces recently attacked a gathering of Taliban members in Kabul. According to a statement issued by the Freedom Front, the attack took place on Friday evening, Apr 19, at a guard post near the Harbi Factory in the second district of Kabul.

 

The Freedom Front’s statement noted that as a result of the attack, three Taliban members were killed and two others were injured. According to the Freedom Front, the Taliban members were preparing to search and inspect homes in the Omid Sabz residential area when the attack occurred.

 

The Taliban has yet to comment on this incident. The Freedom Front has recently increased its attacks against Taliban members in various provinces across the country.

 

In one instance, the Front previously announced that one Taliban member was killed and two others were injured as a result of an attack by its forces on a Taliban police command post in Pul-e-Khumri.
