RASC News Agency: Sources in Kiti district, Daikundi Province say that the Kochis severely “beat up” one of the residents of the center of this district.

A source told the media on Sunday, September 17, that two days ago, a resident of Korengag village in Kiti region was “severely beaten” by some Kochis men when he prevented the cattle of the Kochis from entering his trees and fields.

According to the source, the person who was beaten up is called “Esmat” and on Saturday, September 16, he prevented the cattle of the Kochis from entering their trees.

This source added that the Taliban group has arrested two of the Kochis.

According to the source, the Taliban group has asked the Kochis to give some cattle to the injured person.

In a video published on social networks, it can be seen that the Kochis also fight with women when they beat a person.

According to the residents of Kiti district, the Kochis have come to the center of this district with hundreds of cattle.

Another resident of Kiti district center says that they cannot prevent the Kochis from entering their fields.

The conflicts and lawsuits between the Kochis and the native people have increased after the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan.

Kochis have clashed with the natives in several provinces and have claimed ownership of the lands and pastures of the natives.

Earlier, local sources reported that the governor of the Taliban group for Bamyan has arrested two residents of Punjab district of this province because of their refusal to hand over their lands to the Kochis.

According to the sources, Abdullah Sharadi asked the residents of Pushta Gharghari village to give a “confession of line” in order to hand over their land to the Kochis. Residents of Pushta Gharghari village in Punjab said that after the Taliban took over, the Kochis claimed ownership of their land, and following these claims, the Taliban arrested a number of residents of this village at least twice in the past months.
