RASC News Agency: Public sources in Faryab province in the north of the country confirm that a Taliban who entered a house in this province with the intention of sexually assaulting a girl, has been arrested by the people.
According to local sources, this Talib’s name is Qari Hammad, and he is the bodyguard of the governor of the Kohistanat district of Faryab province, who planned to sexually assault a 13-year-old girl.
The local people said that this incident happened on Wednesday September 13 in the Kohistanat district of Faryab province.
The local residents explained that when this Talib entered the house of the girl’s mother, she made a commotion. When the mother of the young girl screamed, people came to this house, arrested Qari Hamad, and beat him.
According to the sources, the local people surrendered him to the Taliban group after beating him. In the meantime, there are some reports that he has been released from prison again after a few days of imprisonment.
Residents of the area emphasized that those who violate people’s homes should be punished, but according to sources, if the perpetrators are members of the Taliban group, not only will they not be punished, but also they will be released from prison again.
