RASC News Agency: Local sources in Faryab province confirm that the Taliban group has arrested the Mullah of a religious school in Shirin Tagab district of this province.

According to the sources, this Mullah of the religious school was arrested on Wednesday, September 13, after a video tape in which he beats a child in a school in this district became public.

Sources added that the name of this Mullah is Qari Qudratullah and he severely beat this child two weeks ago in Shirintagab district of this province.

According to the sources, Qudratullah was the mullah of a religious school in the mountain village of Sayad, Shirintagab, Faryab province.

According to the sources, after the arrest of this Mullah, some families whose children went to this Mullah for education also complained against this Mullah and said that he had repeatedly beaten the students of this school. It should be noted that the broadcast of this video has had a wide impact on social media.

At the same time, it should be noted that the Taliban group, after taking over Afghanistan, has started building schools, and besides that, they have closed the gates of girls’ schools above the sixth grade.

They have also blocked universities and educational centers for women and girls.

In the past two years, despite extensive internal and external pressure, this group has refused to open the gates of educational institutions to girls and women.
