RASC News Agency: The officials of the Ministry of Amr Bil Maruf of the Taliban group in Bamyan province have ordered traders and businessmen not to import “illegal clothes” into the market.
The Ministry of Amr Bil Maruf has told the Taliban group in a newsletter that this issue was raised by the officials of the Ministry in a meeting with the traders and businessmen of Bamyan and they said that the sticky and thin clothes are “against Sharia and Afghanistan culture”.
The agents of the Taliban group also called the use of short and thin clothes as an imitation of western culture and told the residents of Bamyan not to use such clothes.
This is despite the fact that the Taliban group has been imposing restrictions on the lives of citizens, especially women, ever since they took over the country.
In continuation of the imposition of these restrictions by the Taliban group, this group has also imposed restrictions on the clothing of Afghanistan women and girls.
The officials of this group said a while ago in a decree that women’s faces should not be seen in public, because on the one hand it lowers the value of women and on the other hand it causes sedition in the society.
It should be noted that the agents of the Ministry of Amr Bil Maruf of the Taliban group monitored the clothing of the citizens according to the regulations of this group and in most cases; they arrested and harassed people for not complying with their desired clothing.
In one case, these officers arrested a man in Herat province because of his wife is covering, which was a cloak.
