RASC News Agency: Local sources in Daikundi province say that two members of the Taliban group beat a girl after she resisted sexual assault by them.

According to the sources, two members of the Taliban group tried to rape a 14-year-old girl on Thursday (August 31) in the village of “Sarchaka Quchanghi” in Eshterli district, but they have faced the girl’s resistance and noise.

According to sources, two members of the Taliban group planned to rape a girl who was busy shepherding in an area far from her village. However, the noise of the girl was raised and the girl started to run away and these two seekers chased the girl and severely beat her, and then when the local people were informed, they were forced to flee from the area.

On the other hand, the sources said that the Taliban forces in Eshterli district have gone to the houses of the residents of the villages of this district several times to propose their teenage daughters.

Sources added that after this action of the Taliban group, a large number of people have sent their daughters to other provinces or family members have moved from their place of residence.

The local officials of the Taliban in Daikundi province have not yet said anything in connection with these claims.

Previously, members of the Taliban group were accused of sexual assault in a number of provinces, including Sare-Pol and Takhar provinces. The local Taliban administrations in these provinces had announced the arrest of the accused persons, but public sources say that the accused persons were released again after a short period.
