RASC News Agency: According to the report of the Pakistani media, the police of this country have arrested 121 Afghanistani immigrants in the city of Karachi in a new action.
According to the report of ERYA network, in the latest case on Sunday, September 10, at least 121 Afghanistani immigrants were arrested by the Pakistani police in the city of Karachi.
Based on the report of this media, these immigrants have been arrested due to “illegal entry” to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the interior minister of Pakistan has recently announced that the country’s government plans to take “strong measures against illegal immigrants” in that country.
It should be mentioned that before this, the Pakistani police had arrested dozens of Afghanistani immigrants who had legal documents in that country.
It is said that the Pakistani police took this action in order to “extort money” from the immigrants, but the authorities of this country have always denied the claims.
Meanwhile, in response to the Pakistani government’s treatment of Afghanistani refugees, Amnesty International asked the Pakistani government to stop harassing and detaining Afghanistani refugees.
It should be noted that millions of Afghanistanis became refugees to different countries, especially Iran and Pakistan, as a result of the wars of the last few decades.
It should be noted that after the re-establishment of the Taliban group, the wave of Afghanistani immigration intensified once again, and thousands of Afghanistanis left the country due to security threats, economic problems, the education of their children, and various other reasons, and this process is still ongoing.
