RASC News Agency: Ahmad Masoud, the leader of “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan” says that the Taliban group imposed the war by not accepting the message of peace and trying to continue the current war.

Masoud said in a video message that he published on X/Twitter on Saturday, September 9, on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the death of Ahmad Shah Masoud, saying: “It was the Taliban who insisted on bloodshed.”

He added: “Just as they (Taliban group) said no to the peace message of  (Burhanuddin Rabbani), they said no to the peace message of the national hero (Ahmed Shah Massoud) and preferred war, they also said no to us and war imposed on us and our people.”

In this video message, Ahmad Masoud says that there was no way left for them except “resistance and standing” to prevent the “tyranny and crime of the Taliban”.

In his speech, Massoud emphasized the unity and solidarity of the political and military groups opposed to the Taliban group and said: “From every ethnic group, from every religion and with every language we speak, from every party and movement we are, to change the current situation and “To improve the current situation, we must be united and stand together.”

Ahmad Massoud has said that the “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan” considers the interests of Afghanistan and the countries of the world as a hostage to the formation of a legitimate system, and the basis of this legitimacy should be “the will and vote of the people of Afghanistan”.
