RASC News Agency: Local sources in Takhar province have reported that the Taliban group has arrested 26 people in this province on charges of cooperation with the “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan”.
Sources told the media on Thursday, September 7, that these people were arrested in Farkhar district of Takhar province in the past two days.
According to local sources, the Taliban group arrested these people, who are residents of Farkhar district, on the charge of cooperation with the “National Resistance Front of Afghanistan” and put them in prison.
According to sources, the detainees were identified by the intelligence forces of the Taliban group with the cooperation of the Pashtun soldiers of Kandahar and Helmand provinces and were taken to the district of Taleqan, from center of Takhar province.
News sources added that most of these people were employees of the previous government in the ministries of defense, interior affairs, and administration, who became unemployed after the Taliban took over and returned to their villages.
The local officials of the Taliban group have not yet said anything about these arrests.
This is despite the fact that in the last few days, the targeted attacks of the “Afghanistan National Resistance Front” forces on the Taliban group in Takhar province have increased and casualties have also been caused to the forces of this group.
Simultaneously with the increase in the operations of the “Afghanistan National Resistance Front” in Takhar province, local sources have said that the Taliban group of Pashtun fighters from Kandahar and Helmand, who are related to the Ministry of Defense, have recently returned to this province to fight the forces of the National Resistance Front. They have sent the province.
Previously, the Taliban group had changed the officials of 14 districts of Takhar province, and it is said that the reason for those changes was the activities of the anti-Taliban fronts.
