RASC News Agency: Local sources in Badakhshan province in the northeast of the country confirm that a commander of Jamiat-e-Islami Afghanistan was shot and killed by unknown gunmen.

According to the sources, this incident happened last night (Wednesday, September 6) at his home in Dasht Qorugh, Faizabad city, the center of Badakhshan province.

Based on information from sources; The commander of Jamiat-e-Islami Afghanistan is Seyed Abdul Hamid, and he was the national security director of Yaftal district in Badakhshan province in the previous government.

The motive of this murder has not yet been clarified, but the sources of the Taliban group are the main culprits of this incident and they say that this group is doing this.

The local officials of the Taliban group in Badakhshan province have not said anything about the nature of this incident.

Meanwhile, the number of mysterious murders and targeted assassinations has increased recently in different parts of the country.

It should be noted that the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNAMA) said in a report that the Taliban had violated more than 800 cases of human rights, including the killing of soldiers of the previous government.

It is said that after coming to power, the Taliban have committed targeted killings, arrests and tortures of government employees, especially military officers of the previous government, in many provinces of the country.

It should be noted that the Taliban group has used violent behavior and repressive policies against the citizens not only during this two-year period of domination over the country, but also during the twenty-year war.
