RASC News Agency: A number of members of the British Parliament and Afghanistanis in this country called for a political alliance to fight the Taliban group during a gathering held to honor Ahmad Shah Massoud, the former jihadist commander of Afghanistan.
The participants of this meeting, which was held on the initiative of the Afghanistani Union in Glasgow, in the British Parliament, also demanded that the international community not support the misogynistic Taliban group.
Some officials of the previous government, civil activists of Afghanistan and Afghanistanis living in Britain were also present in this gathering.
The participants in this meeting talked about the functions of Ahmad Shah Massoud, the former commander of the anti-Taliban group.
In this gathering, they discussed the role of civil and political resistance against the Taliban and asked the international community not to support misogynistic terrorists.
It should be mentioned that Ahmad Masoud, the son of Ahmad Shah Masoud, is currently in charge of the leadership of an Afghanistan National Resistance Front that was formed after the Taliban took over again.
This front has carried out military attacks against this group in a number of different provinces of the country since the time when the Taliban group dominated the country.
It is to be noted that before, a commemorative meeting of the functions and legacy of Ahmad Shah Massoud for Afghanistan was held in the British Parliament on the initiative of the United Afghanistani organization in this parliament.
Ahmad Shah Massoud was killed on September 9, 2001, following the explosion of a bomb embedded in the camera of two Arab attackers who met Massoud under the cover of a journalist.
