RASC News Agency: The security officials of the Taliban group in Sare-Pol province confirm that two people, a young boy and a young girl, have been arrested from the city of Sarpol, the center of this province, on charges of moral corruption.

The press office of the Taliban police command for Sare-Pol province has confirmed the arrest of these youths on charges of moral corruption in a newsletter published today (Monday, September 4).

The news source pointed out that a young boy and a young girl from the shrine area of Imamzada Yahya were identified and arrested by the second police station of Sare-Pol city, accused of having an illicit relationship.

In this newsletter, it is mentioned that the young man was a resident of Seyed Abad village of Sare-Pol province and the girl was a resident of Taimani area of Kabul province, that they had a relationship.

In a newsletter of the Taliban group of police in Sare-Pol province, it is stated that these young people have been arrested on the charge of running away from home and illicit communication, and their case will be handed over to judicial bodies.

It should be noted that the Taliban group issues severe sentences for those accused of running away from home and illicit relationships, which include stoning, whipping, torture and shooting.

It should be noted that the Taliban group did not believe in the judicial process for such cases before, but they issued verdicts in the detention area and tried the accused in a field court.

It should be noted that the process of bringing the accused to court by the Taliban group is accompanied by doubts and the majority of people have serious complaints about the process of handling cases by the Taliban court.
